WHO WE ARE
ECOrvinuUS was created in order to address sustainability, environmentalism, and locally sourced products. Our aim is to educate students attending CUB about the purpose of sustainability and locally sourced products here in Budapest and the surrounding areas. Our hope is that we’ll be able to effectively spread awareness, encourage a healthy student lifestyle and give students the tools they need to be successful at this while living in Budapest.
Our team believes this idea is important for the following reasons:
1. There is currently no program like this at CUB
2. Hungary is taking steps towards being a more sustainable environment, so why not the universities?
3. Supporting local and regional producers not only benefit the economy but also allows students to know exactly where their goods are coming from.
4. We have the ability to provide resources for students that don’t know where to look.

WHAT WE DO
Design interactive workshops and provide useful information
ECOrvinUS is dedicated to finding and sharing the most useful information for CUB students about sustainability and green living here in Budapest. We have also recognized that being interactive with the community can be extremely beneficial and help bridge the gap between students coming from different parts of the world.

With this in mind, we are collaborating with local producers to form fun interactive workshops and outings where students can participate in different activities and have a more hands-on learning experience. Some of these experiences will include site visits to meet local producers and see first-hand how their products are made. Others will be interactive workshops where our members or local producers will teach students to make products from all natural ingredients.
